How IVR Works
IVR systems can differ in complexity, but essentially all IVR systems operate in the same manner. A caller uses either their key pad or voice to enter data, typically to make a payment or order a service. By making use of an automated platform, your business can reduce or even remove the need for an expensive call centre operation, and the security and PCI-DSS compliance issues that this brings.
More complex and advanced IVR systems will bring into play more sophisticated voice/speech recognition, and if required an organisation can even utilise text-to-speech (TTS) to fully automate its outgoing messages. The latter software does not rely on recording a range of possible responses to a customers query, but instead generates customised text responses and is able to read it back to the customer using an automated voice.
Our Payment IVR system is easy to integrate with existing back-end set-ups, so that no costly transformations are needed. We are able to fully design, develop, test and deploy an automated payment collection system upon visitation from our qualified engineers. Clients are free to opt in and out for additional services such as SMS receipts, and convenience fee payments. For IVRs that require processing of payments a merchant account number is required, KeyIVR can provide assistance and guidance on the setup of payment gateways for no additional cost.
